Morning all , starting today with another Shimmelle crop challenge, this one was to go retro use a photo older than 2011, i dug out a couple of me and my oldest she is now 22 not sure were years have gone !

i made them look like polaroids using Picnik ( a favorite of my youngest daughter) then tried to use papers with a bit of retro look,

i'm pleased with result, another successful challenge.

so challenge 1 was to use digi sheets designed by Mary Anne, i used the boys circles sheets but printed it onto transparences and then cut out and used to frame the photos and add design to a plain page,

Morning some lovely pictures on the HS/MS/HS prompt today i love the front page cat one, as you may have gathered the prompt for todayis nature and PINK, we had a shower of rain and so i managed this one ,

feels like long week this week my youngest leaves junior school and heads off to the big scary world of secondary school not sure who's finding it more emotional her or me ! and when did school uniform lists become so long !!!!! got everything apart from the kitchen sink on it, then ontop of that they are pilotting netbooks for pupils to use in class but hey going to cost me £18 a month ! never ends does it, so good luck to anyone else in this horrible time,

morning , yesterday got fair bit done, complete HS/MS/HS well my 10 yr old daughter did given the prompt CLIMB she brought me back this amazing photo hope you agree, so captures climb, well done hannah :)

next up i spent hour on the days lesson from Jessica sprague it was about using textures ,took while to getmy head round this one but i managed to change this colour picture of bells to the textured one and i'm really pleased with it, now to try and remember how i did it :)

happy new year to all who venture here !!!!! i'm back , school work, life has resumed well apart from 2 hrs in casualty with DS ? broken collar bone , ( which thankfully isn't )

so were to start so many projects i'm aiming to do, the usual HS/MS/HS : ) as we know gets addictive, todays is begining well the begining of my day was snow ! so for your delight snow and tree on school run,

UKScrappers has also loads of challenges from photo a day in a flickr group look up 365 photos 2009, to 12 in 12 ( 12 layouts in 12 months ) to month in review mmmmmmm i know never keep them going lol but can try :)

and another favorite of mine is tallyscrappers always plenty to keep me out of trouble and occupied on these cold nights,

Don't know what your house was like but mine was the usual monday mayhem all trying to get up and do things all under each others feet!!! but we've made it through the day, and dinner now cooking so gives me 5 mins : )

At last it's friday, have had puncture in car, blind fell down at home and yesterday my fridge freezer died big time so milk in bucket of cold water out back, all this along with a stinking cold! so yep i'm glad week almost through : ).
But up side have my laptop back : ) going to scrap crop all day tomorrow which looking forward to, and it seems i'm the best mum in the world according to DS, having purchased a netbook for him to take to college and use as he's struggling with his dyslexia,

Ok after much thought mine would be what not to wear, i had my last cigarette 14 mths ago but gained 3 stone , turned 40 2 yrs ago and don't know were my dress sense fits anymore, dillema is not to be looking like 40 yr old pretending to be 20 lol but neither 40yrs old looking 70 mmmmmm just don't seem to feel right with choices and beleive me i love to shop but soo many mistakes !!!!

Ok so HS/MS prompt is Adventure today, and mine certainly was but not the usual, there we were 4 adults and 5 kids stuck at airport in spain all night !!!! some people shouted as frustrated, some cried , but us always ready to tackle a challenge set up camp for night , made beds for kids with things out suitcases told them what a adventure it was and what a story to tell when home, think it will be one of those things always remembered a right adventure it turned out to be just getting home, ( not to be repeated please ryaniar )

I turned into one of those people today that we all go urghhhhhhh ( or is it just me ) work meeting had dragged on and on all wanted to get away then he asked that dreaded question any questions???? always that 1 person who sparks whole new debate................. and we go arhhhhhhhhhh but today it was me !!!! how scary when i realised afterwards but i didn't understand something and i couldn't get others to see what i didn't get a circle of frustrated discusion ensued and i still don't think i got it lol but lesson learnt always a time when something not understood so next time that person goes but ......... i will understand and smile, ( this has probably been one of the worst bits of rambling i've ever done sorry )

Todays prompt of HS/MS is leaves and despite being on hands and knees no four leaf clover !!! has anyone ever found one ?

well just have to comment on the weather , real indian summer in september this weekend really does make me want to get up and do,

Thought i might have been hibernating all winter as the weather today has been glorious have i woken up in may ?

My bug bear of the day is .................. why do people name there house but not keep the number ???? i spent 45 mins driving up and down a very long road trying to go slowly looking for a house for work today, some names i couldn't even see, now don't get me wrong i think it's nice to give your home a personality with a name but can you not keep the number too ????

The HS/MS Promt for the day is BIG - well i did the usual when you think of big and thought what is on my daily travels today that might be classed as big ....................... wasn't going past big ben, no giant dog, or huge strawberry ok sorry i settled for 2 common areas of big in our house,

Think i'm in for a long week, as i've already mentioned my son has a degree of special needs andi spent hour last night getting him sorted and organised ready to get up and go to college today, thought i had it all done then this morning no transport to pick him up they messed up on time, i don't think people realise what a huge effect a little mistake can have, i then had to get other 2 to school and him 20 miles to college wound up over his morning ordeal! ahhhhhh dare i say bring back summer holidays lol

Hi all well this weeks prompts are good on HS:MS but boy do they make you think out the box , kids and i stumped yesterday but hoping by end of week my observation skills will have improved : )

Well the HS:MS prompt for the day stumped me CHEW .................. i have no cute pet to catch the cats ran and hide, no cute child either mine big and camera phobic! and no helpful person or animal came along today........................ so i passed.

Did make it to my scrapbooking club tonight always a nice change to get out and play with paper and glue without interuptions, it was the monthly kit from http://www.totalpapercraft.co.uk/ looked scary and bright but really pleased with it, unsure about cutting up photo was experimenting ( looks more like prison bars ! )

HS/MS is special shots today , we had a good day out at hever castle beautiful gardens wish i'd taken my DSLR instead of compact, but still trying to work out how to use it so probably best i didn't, be nice to go back minus kids and crowds and just shoot for day,

how long has it been ................... forgive me too long in blog land!! i had this weird virus that made me feel drunk when not had a drop ( cheap i know but right pain as took 2 weeks to go )

just survived half term break away with kids and other half why do we holiday in england when it rained rained oh and rained more >................................. out with the faithful pack-a-mac lol

my camera got a real bashing my son highjacked it and as he has ADHD and is quiet manic if it calmed him down was worth it but a day at a monkey sancuary resulted in 110 photos!!! lucky eh : )

i have done it at last , actually went and brought myself a DSLR today oooooo never had one but feel i want to do more with my pictures and how i take them, so this is thanks to my nan as without her i wouldn't have had it ,

still suffering from the wobbles, looks like will have to be couch potato for few more days : ( not helping my weight loose !!! ohhhhhhh did i mention back at weight watchers for 4 weeks now it's worked in the past so it will work this time as by august holiday i want less flab to wobble on beach ( too much information i know ! sorry )

I'm back i know not that anyone has missed me, decided i need place to put my scrapbook challenges and other odd things i do on the net for groups , very new to this so no idea how it will come out but here goes : )

ahhhhh it's Thursday again and i'm off to pay £5 to weigh in at slimming class !!! why i can get on them at home and i'm sure if i haven't lost one of the kids will happily shout , frown and tell me off ! but no i go my 3rd week in count down mode to my apruil holiday and not daring to uncover by pool lookng like i am , but there are plusses i have now given up smoking for 6 months yeahhhhhhhhhh but the down side was a extra 2 stone mmmmmmmmm . i know thats the balance of the world give and take ,

well i actually found the way back to my page phew , had visions of never finding it again , so ramble i can more,

Yesterday went from bad to worse, is there anywere at the moment were there is not a traffic jam ?????????? 10 minute school run took hour, and managed to blow car up.......................... ok slight exaggeration but trip to garage and bill to pay, so day started well, hence iron still calling me and still not done it yet !!!

mum bit .............................. is there a age when you don't want to rip your daughters head off ???????? mine is 18 she is a good girl , studying hard, helpful at home so why do we clash sometimes ????????? at the moment we are on the verge of it, but i'm off scrapbooking tonight, give us some space, and it is about the only time i get to scrap always good intentions but never quiet get there, might show you my page tomorrow, if i find were i'm going!

nothing ever simple is it, my usual scrapping place been moved got a map and tom ( my sat nav) and fingers crossed , now to do the hardet bit select the photos mmmmmmm always leave it to last minute can never quiet decide,
